Cancellation Policies

24+ hours before class:

  • cancel freely with no penalties

  • student receives full refund

  • HiCoach offers student reschedule options

Less than 24 hours before class:

  • Your account gets 1 penalty point

  • Student receives full refund

  • At 5 penalty points your profile will not be shown to new students (4 weeks) but existing students can still book with you.

If student cancels more than 24h before class:

  • Lesson will be cancelled and student will not be charged

  • Your time slot is reopened automatically and you can use your hot slots to fill it up again

if less than 24h:

  • student is charged for the class, and you receive full payment.

Weather Related Policies

If cancelled before class:

  • student receives a credit to use for a rescheduled session. You will receive 100%
    payment.

If cancelled during class:

  • Payment if prorated to the nearest half an hour (E.g original class is from 1 – 2pm, it starts raining at 1.20pm, counts as 30 min and you receive 0.5 of your hourly rate.

Commonly Asked Questions

When students book a class, they pay for it
upfront. The money is held securely until after the session completes.

First transaction:

  • Takes up to 7 days

Subsequent transactions:

  • Every 3 days

 

Coach securely without having to worry about chasing payments

Yes! Students can select to automatically book the same slot weekly so that you can enjoy a stable coaching income without worrying about when the next class will be. This will continue until they cancel it which we will notify you of and allow other students to fill that weekly slot.

This is something we are working on currently and you will be the first to be notified once we roll out that feature. For now, HiCoach only supports 1-1.

Yes! Packages are a great way to increase commitment and revenue.

How lesson packages work:

  1. Decide package size: 10 – 20 or custom amount

  2. Set a discount (optional)

  3. Publish it and students will start seeing it on your profile

*Do note that fulfilling your packages are a legal
requirement

No. You have complete control over who you coach and when you coach. When students book a slot, you have 24 hours to accept or decline before it expires. There are no penalties for declining.

If you accept wrongly, you can cancel the class
with no penalty as long as it is 24h+ to class.

Certifications are always great! But not having them is not a problem. Showcasing your playing and coaching experience is often more than enough to entice students to engage your services.
